03:08 - Redn1ght And if people ask me why I'm so down all the time! :p @Karlabos.
02:39 - Karlabos Wow those are some dumb metalheads
01:34 - Redn1ght [link] people on comments "I do not understand what a map is..." WTF? Are these people from times before maps?
00:34 - Clint W. Not sure about the train scene from Joe Kidd. Unforgiven might be my favorite Eastwood western. The other Sergio Leone non-Eastwood westerns are great too.
00:18 - Erik M. I forgot about Bronco Billy, which I haven't seen. Paint Your Wagon is not really a western from the looks of it, so that one doesn't count. :P (okay, it seems I ended up talking to myself again)
00:13 - Erik M. Zaphod, I'm sure I already spammed it before but here's my Western list (IMDb): [link] All "real" Eastwood Westerns, as you can see.
00:11 - Erik M. Clint W, isn't the train scene in Joe Kidd similar... or a rip-off, of the train scene in How the West Was Won? I've only seen Joe Kidd, so I don't know yet.

German metallers Deadlock have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:
We are in the final steps of the pre-production for our new album and can't wait to record the new stuff! At the moment we work hard on the last fine-tuning of the songs but be sure that the yet unborn child will rock your ears off! Due date for the baby will be in early 2011.
If you are as Deadlock-addicted as we are, kill your time with our cover version of Running Wild's "When Time Runs Out" on our MySpace player.

We'll keep you updated.
German metallers Deadlock posted the following statement on their myspace page:
"We're not happy to announce, that we parted ways with Tom after more than 7 common years. Due to some musical and personal differences we agreed with him that it's better to make a cut.
There's no shittalking whatsoever, no bad mood or angry feelings. We just decided that Deadlock should go on with a new bass player.
We thank Tom for all the amazing years, the great time, his friendship and all our happy experiences together!
All future shows will be played with session musicians until we find a new member for that part. More news on our search for the new DEADLOCK family member will be posted soon!"
"We uploaded a first brand new song from our new album "Manifesto". Please check our profile and listen to the track "The Brave / Agony Applause". We're looking forward to your feedback!
We also have just finished the video shoot for this song together with director Philipp Hirsch (Heaven Shall Burn, Amon Amarth, Disillusion). The clip will be premiered by the beginning of November and we promise you, it will roooock!!
"Manifesto" will be out on 14th November in Germany/Austria/Switzerland. and 17th November in the rest of Europe. The U.S. will follow on 20th January and the hungry audience in Japan will be served on 17th November as well.
Deadlock have just renewed their contract with Lifeforce Records. After their successful albums "Earth.Revolt" (2005), "Wolves" (2007) and the newest (yet untitled) release to hit the stores in November 2008, their will be three more albums which will combine the typical Deadlock essences, a high standard mixture of extreme technical and melodic metal, the dual vocals by the band's singers Joe and Sabine and a good dose of gothic darkness.
This is what the bands drummer, Tobias Graf, has to say to the renewal of their contract with Lifeforce: "It´s a big pleasure for us to continue our collaboration with Lifeforce. They´re doing an excellent job for Deadlock, so it´s been an pretty easy decision to extend our existing deal with them. Furthermore we´re the only good band on their label roster and we couldn´t take the responsibility to leave them alone with all those other poorly acts."
The following has been announced via Deadlock's official newsletter :
After more than six years of brilliant collaborations for Deadlock's previous records, we´re very proud to announce Sabine Weniger will be a constant member of Deadlock in the future!
Starting from the bands next 'yet untitled' album, which is scheduled for an april 2007 release, we heartly welcome this outstanding talented and professional singer as the band's second main vocalist.
The band additionally stated: "The personal and musical cooperation in the past has always been fantastic and will now mean another big step to more variety, innovation and inimitability. Her amazing and highly acclaimed voice perfectly fits in our new songs and we´re sure, that Joe and her will be an excellent duo on our live performances and all upcoming releases."
