Delain will bring us new material soon. The Dutch symphonic act hit the studio and just announced their new EP, Lunar Prelude, due out on the 19th of February 2016 via Napalm Records. The EP, mastered by Grammy Award winning Ted Jensen, offers two brand new songs, "Suckerpunch" and "Turn The Lights Out". "Don't Let Go" (taken from 2014's The Human Contradiction) comes in a brand new version, while the EP also contains four live cuts, as well as an orchestral reprise of "Suckerpunch".

Delain released their last album in 2014, The Human Contradiction. Since then, the band has been touring consistently and will continue to do that this year. However, the group has also prepared a new lyric video for the song "Sing To Me" which appears on the album. Both the song and video feature guest vocals from Marco Hietala from Nightwish, who they are currently touring with in the US.

Delain announced today that guitarist Merel Bechtold (MaYaN) will join them on the upcoming European tour with Sabaton and Battle Beast starting this Friday in Oberhausen, Germany. Guitarist Timo Somers unfortunately won't be able to be present on this tour due to a very full schedule.

Unfortunately, Delain's bassist Otto "The Baron" Schimmelpenninck injured himself during the band's recent show in Birmingham. He was in the hospital and wasn't able to perform with the band on the last two shows of their UK tour. After many well-wishes from the fans, Otto has now updated on his injury and explained what happened. It turns out he had a very painful experience after being hit by a streamer during the show.
