Enslaved have just unleashed their new album E on October 13th via Nuclear Blast. The album debuted at #12 on the Norwegian charts as well as #6 US Billboard Heatseekers, among others. Enslaved have now also been confirmed as headliners of the 2018 Decibel Magazine Tour. The Norwegian progressive metal legends will join forces with Pacific Northwest black metal heroes Wolves In The Throne Room, Danish post-black siren Myrkur and doomed crushers Khemmis (with regional openers in select markets to be announced next year).

The Norwegian black metal avantgardists just announced the release of their epic new studio album for October 13th, 2017. This 14th full-length "sets the musical mind-twisters free from genre boundaries and offers a unprecedented mix of prog, extreme metal and shoegaze on 8 tracks with a play time of more than an hour." Titled E, the album was once again written by the unholy alliance of guitarist Ivar Bjørnson (music, lyrics) and singer/bassist Grutle Kjellson (lyrics) and marks the introduction of their new keyboard master and clean vocalist Håkon Vinje. Good news arrive from the Enslaved camp today. It looks like the Norwegian progressive metallers are already forging the follow-up to In Times released two years ago. They have entered the studio again to record their 14th, yet untitled full-length release. The recordings are taking place at Duper & Solslottet Studios in Bergen throughout April, and will be mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios. According to their label, "the album promises to be original and refreshing - and to contain some surprising new elements."

The Sleeping Gods - Thorn will drop via By Norse Music on November 11th, and it will feature rare and experimental material from 2010/2011, collected for the first time as a full-length album. Costin Chioreanu of Twilight 13 Media (Roadburn Festival, Opeth, Darkthrone, At The Gates, etc.) once again did the new layout, including new illustrations.

The reissue of Vikingligr Veldi will coincide with the band's 25th anniversary European Tour and will be available in a limited Enslaved 25 Webshop edition and a regular edition! The astonishing new layout was done by Zbigniew M. Bielak (Ghost, Mayhem, etc.) and includes four brand new illustrations specially made for this album.
