23:08 - Doge of Venice Cheers. The only reason I managed to get up to that pace was because i programmed drums and bass in Guitar Pro first, then improvised over that to figure out the guitar parts.
23:06 - Doge of Venice Every segment was just recorded, had ends and starts cut for cleanliness, then all I did was EQ it. As for the abrupt pauses in the bridge, I tried to mute them, but just cutting the pauses out sounded better. >.>
23:06 - Redn1ght Just play looong improvisation sessions or riffs over and over for endurance... If you use a metronome with that, you could get more accurate on the timing too.
23:02 - Doge of Venice It's mainly endurance that is my problem, at that temp. I'm comfortable up until around 140bpm or so. I recorded in small segments (well, the longest were about 40 seconds). The only bits that were edited were the abrupt pauses
22:59 - Redn1ght Doge, how much of that guitar playing is unedited? If you suck at keeping a rhythm, practice with a metronome. Endurance training/accuracy always helps too. :p
22:58 - Doge of Venice Well, if anyone wants to do vocals, then gimme a shout.

Roadrunner Records is very excited to announce the signing of this outstanding metal band from Stockholm/Sweden!
Grand Magus is a 3-piece band featuring: "JB" Christofferson - guitars & lead vocals, Fox Skinner - bass & backing vocals, Sebastian "SEB" Sippola - drums.
During their 10-year history, Grand Magus have released 2 demos, 1 split-EP and 4 full-length albums, and have received overwhelmingly positive reviews throughout. Their last opus, Iron Will was voted "Album of the Month" in the German Metal Hammer & Rock Hard magazines. Drawing hefty influences from the hand-on-heart grandeur of the NWOBHM and the inspirational mythology of their forbears, Grand Magus are steeped in pre-Christian tales of triumph, vengeance, betrayal, wisdom and death. But Grand Magus also stand for energetic live performances as seen at this year's European festivals such as Sweden Rock (SE), Hellfest (FR), Wacken (D), Summer Breeze (D) or on tour in Europe with bands like At The Gates, Cathedral, Candlemass, Tyrant, Serpentcult and Electric Wizard.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances Grand Magus will not tour Germany on the announced dates in November. The band is very sorry about this, but promise to reschedual these dates and come back in 2009 instead.
On the good side the UK and Holland, Belgium our was a great success, cheers to all who showed up. Grand Magus will return soon again."
