Marduk - Drummer Leaves Band

Swedish black metallers Marduk have now confirmed that their upcoming studio album will be the band's final effort to feature drummer Emil Dragutinovic. A source close to Emil stated that the drummer officially quit the group on November 1 but has agreed to perform on the new CD as a session musician (but only "if he gets paid upfront").

Marduk will enter Endarker studio in December 2006/January 2007 to begin recording the new CD for an April 2007 release. A "massive" tour will follow.

Marduk - New DVD Trailer Posted Online

Black Metallers Marduk have posted a trailer for thier upcoming DVD on their official website. The DVD is entitled 'Blood Puke Salvation' and contains over 90 minutes of live footage from the band's Tilburg, Holland and Antwerpen, Belgium shows among other things. The DVD will be released on the 25th September.

Marduk - New DVD Release Date Pushed Back

Swedish Black Metal band Marduk have had to push back the release date for their upcoming DVD entitled 'Blood Puke Salvation'. The DVD was originally going to be released on the 4th September, but the date is now set to the 25th September. The DVD will contain over 90 minutes of live material filmed in Tilburg, Holland and in Antwerpen, Belgium during December 2004. It will also contain promo videos, interviews and more. A teaser clip for the upcoming DVD will be posted online soon.

Marduk - Confirmed For Polish Black Metal Festival

Swedish black metallers MARDUK have been confirmed for the Black Metal Festival, set to take place August 13 at Stodola in Warsaw, Poland. Also scheduled to appear on the bill are ENSLAVED and MAYHEM.

As previously reported, MARDUK have set a September 4 release date for their new DVD, entitled "Blood Puke Salvation". The DVD will contain over 90 minutes of live material filmed in Tilburg, Holland and Antwerpen, Belgium during December 2004. Also included will be promotional videos for "Throne Of Rats", "Steel Inferno" and "The Hangman Of Prague", plus a photo gallery, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and a section entitled "Deathmarch" with exclusive hand-filmed live material from over 20 cities from the "Deathmarch" tour. Marduk - Announce DVD And New Album

Marduk have posted the following message on their official website :

"Marduk are now putting the final touches on the layout for the upcoming DVD and are also finished the mixing of it. The title has been set for 'Blood Puke Salvation'. The DVD will contain over one and a half hour of live material filmed in Tilburg, Holland and Antwerpen, Belgium during December 2004. What so far also have been confirmed is that the promo videos for 'Throne Of Rats', 'Steel Inferno' and 'The Hangman Of Prague' will also be included as well as a tremendous photo gallery, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and a section entitled 'Deathmarch' with exclusive hand-filmed live material from over 20 cities from the 'Deathmarch' tour. Release date is still to be set, but it will most likely be out by the end of May. Apart from that we can also mention that Morgan and Mortuus are currently demoing new material for the next full-length album."

Marduk recently issued a live album, entitled "Warschau". Limited to 10,000 copies on CD worldwide, the album was also scheduled to be released as a limited-edition double LP and double picture disc (each limited to 500 copies).

Marduk - Live Album To Celebrate 15 Years

To celebrate 15 year of Blood and Iron Marduk will unleash upon mankind a live album recorded in Warsaw/Poland on the recent Deathmarch tour. The album features 17 songs and will be a limited edition Cd of 10 000 copies worldwide. Also to be able as a strictly limited edition of 500 copies on double Lp. Marduk - release date of the new album

Regain Records has set a November 22 European release date for the new album from Swedish black metallers MARDUK, entitled"Plague Angel". The CD, which was recorded at Endarker studio in Norrköping, Sweden with producer Devo Andersson, will be the band's first release with new singer Mortuus (previously a member of FUNERAL MIST and TRIUMPHATOR under the alias Arioch). A video for the track "Throne of Rats" is currently being produced by director Roger Johansson (THE HAUNTED, IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL) and is being described as "a morbid masterpiece and a tribute to death and war."

Marduk in the studio

The band just completed the recordings of the bass, drums and guitar for the new album. The vocals will be recorded soon, the album (apparently to be out in November / December) will be followed by a World Tour, the "DEATHMARCH2004/2005" tour, which will star on December.

Also a date will be placed at the Headbangers Ballrom-Hamburg, Germany on the 19th of September.

Marduk - DVD delayed

Swedish black metallers MARDUK have been forced to push back the European release date of their much-anticipated DVD, "Funeral Marches And Warsongs", to late February. The disc will surface in the U.S through The End Records and South America through Hellion Records.

According to a posting on the band's web site, the delay was caused by "problems with the printer."

Marduk confirmed for Rock The Nations festival

Swedish black metallers MARDUK and former IRON MAIDEN singer PAUL DI'ANNO are the latest bands confirmed for this year's Rock The Nations Open Air Festival, scheduled to be held July 3-4 in Istanbul, Turkey. Also set to appear are U.D.O., PAIN OF SALVATION, AMON AMARTH and ASAFATED SOLITUDE. More confirmations will be announced soon.

Legion left Marduk

Vocalist Legion is no longer a part of Marduk. Marduk have cancelled the upcoming shows( Blackest of the Black Festival in London and the 2 shows in Greece) A replacment for Legion has already been found and will be presented very soon.
