Paradise Lost - To Release 'Host - Remastered' In March

On March 16th, Britain's cult metallers Paradise Lost will release a remastered version of their seventh studio album, Host, and a first-ever pressing of the songs on vinyl. Originally released in 1999, Host earned Paradise Lost their reputation as West Yorkshire's musical chameleon, as it saw the band moving further away from their previous death metal roots to a melancholic and catchier electropop sound.

Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats - Stream Remixed & Remastered Version Of 'Crystal Spiders'

Masterplan - Share New Single From Upcoming Release

Recently, Masterplan announced the release of a new album titled PumpKings on July 28th via AFM Records which consists of re-recorded versions of German power metal band Helloween songs which were written by Roland Grapow during his time in the band. Now, the first single has been unleashed. According to the band, "The Chance" was one of the most demanded songs since they announced this project and they decided to share it. Check it out here!

Masterplan - Releasing Album Of Re-Recorded Helloween Songs

Masterplan just announced that they will release a new album titled PumpKings on June 30th via AFM Records. It consists of re-recorded versions of legendary German power metal band Helloween songs from albums that guitarist Roland Grapow played on. Included are three songs from Pink Bupples Go Ape (1991), two from Chameleon (1993), two from Master Of The Rings (1994), one from The Time Of The Oath and two from The Dark Ride (2000).

Kreator - To Re-Release Remastered Classic 1980's Albums

Kreator's most recent album, Gods Of Violence, smashed charts worldwide after its release on January 27th and entered the German charts on #1. The band has now announced that their first four classic albums from the 1980's have been remastered and are going to be re-released on June 9th. Master's Hammer - Announce First Show In 25 Years

Metallica - 'Master Of Puppets' Preserved By US Library Of Congress

Metallica's 1986 masterpiece Master Of Puppets has been preserved for posterity and is the first metal title to be given the honour of being added to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. The record was selected as one of the 25 new sound recordings added to the registry of works that are "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

Metallica - Unveil First Details Of 'Master Of Puppets' Book

While they continue to work on a new album, Metallica have collaborated with an award winning author named Matt Taylor on a book about the making of the band's classic 1986 album Master Of Puppets and the subsequent tour that followed its release. Fans shared photos, videos and stories with the band so that all pieces fit together. The cover of Metallica: Back To The Front, which is due in the fall of 2016, can be seen below for now. The book will be released as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of Master Of Puppets.

Schammasch - Remastered Song Streaming Online

"INRI", the newly remastered song from Swiss extreme metal band Schammasch is now available for streaming below. Another song, "Black But Shining", is also streaming here. Both songs are taken from the band's debut album Sic Lvceat Lvx, which was originally released in 2010 and has now been remastered and to be released on May 18th via Prosthetic Records.

Schammasch - To Release Remastered Version Of 'Sic Lvceat Lvx'

Extreme metallers Schammasch have good news for their fans. The band, which released the acclaimed Contradiction album in 2014 that eventually made it to Metal Storm Awards 2014, is now going to reissue a remastered version of their first opus Sic Luceat Lux. The remastering will be done by V. Santura (Dark Fortress, Triptykon) who also produced Contradiction. Everyone will know who did the artwork by the look of it and yes, it is Metastazis (who also did Contradiction's artwork). You can hear the remastered version of "Black But Shining" below now.

Van Halen - Live Album And Remasters Coming

Van Halen will release what the band is calling its "definitive live album" on March 31st, the same date they're scheduled to begin a six-album remaster series with reissues of Van Halen and 1984. It's the first-ever live album to feature original singer David Lee Roth. Confirming days of rumors, sources at the Van Halen News Desk have shared the first official details of the live LP, titled Tokyo Dome Live in Concert, as well as information regarding the upcoming remasters.
