Megadeth - To Tour With Suicidal Tendencies, Children Of Bodom & Havok

Megadeth have just announced that they will team up with Suicidal Tendencies, Children Of Bodom and Havok for a North American tour in early 2016. The four-band package which will launch on February 20th in Dallas, Texas and wrap on March 24th in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, will mark Megadeth's first USA run of dates in support of its new album, Dystopia, slated for release on January 22nd. Megadeth - Contemplated Re-Recording Debut Album With Current Lineup

It seems like guitarist/vocalist Dave Mustaine (MegaDave) loves the current lineup of Megadeth so much that he even contemplated re-recording the band's debut album, Killing Is My Business... And Business Is Good!, with the trio of musicians that surrounds him now for the album's 30th anniversary. The band is currently on tour in Russia, with more European dates still to come, where he revealed this.

Megadeth - Announce Aussie Tour With Children Of Bodom

Attention Aussies. Megadeth have just announced an Australian tour taking place this October with special guests Children Of Bodom! Fan club pre-sale begins Friday, August 21st at 12 Noon local time. All tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 24th at 10.00am. Megadeth are busy preparing a new album, which can be pre-ordered here, while Children Of Bodom's guitarist Alexi "Wildchild" Laiho recently went on stage in Helsinki with an army of 100 guitarists and presented a song he only wrote for that evening.

Children Of Bodom - To Tour Europe With Lamb Of God, Megadeth, Sylosis

Children Of Bodom are releasing a new album soon, I Worship Chaos. So, naturally new tours are being booked to promote the record. Today, the Finnish metallers announced a string of dates for Europe. Children Of Bodom will join forces with groove metallers Lamb Of God, who will present their new record VII: Sturm Und Drang as well and tour Europe this fall. Opening support will come courtesy of British metallers Sylosis. For a few dates in the UK and Ireland, this touring package will team up with mighty Megadeth as well.

Megadeth - Officially Confirm Chris Adler As Drummer For New Album

In the last few weeks, rumors have been circulating around that Lamb Of God's Chris Adler is laying drums for the next Megadeth album. Chris Adler was photographed with Dave Mustaine eating tacos in Tennessee where the band is recording the new album. Megadeth have recently started dropping hints about the drummer and some fans have identified Chris Adler on the clips that you can see below. The band has now shared a picture of Chris Adler with a Megadeth t-shirt on their Facebook page. It's now official. Adler will be appearing as a guest on the album and contributing.

Act Of Defiance - Former Megadeth Members Announce New Band Label, Teaser

After leaving Megadeth, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover announced that they had formed a new band together. This new band is now taking shape. The duo are now announcing their worldwide signing to Metal Blade Records for their new group Act Of Defiance, which is rounded out by Henry Derek (ex-Scar The Martyr) on vocals and Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall) on bass. They are currently recording their debut offering with renowned producer Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed, Shadows Fall). Look for this album to be released sometime this summer. In the meantime, listen below to a sneak peek into a rough demo snippet of the track "Throwback."

Megadeth - Broderick And Drover Form New Band

After recently leaving Megadeth, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover are now joining forces in a new band. Reportedly, they have also recruited ex-Scar The Martyr singer Henry Derek Bonner for this group. However, that information is yet to be confirmed by the band. Megadeth - To Be Off The Road For Most Of Next Year

Recently, Megadeth lost two of its members, guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover. As of yet, mastermind and frontman Dave Mustaine has yet to talk about this but bassist David Ellefson has addressed the issue in a recent interview with The Classic Metal Show. The bassist explained that they plan to stick to their album schedule but will be off the road for most of next year.

Megadeth - Shawn Drover And Chris Broderick Quit The Band

This was sudden. As they prepare to enter the studio in January, Megadeth lose two of its members. Long-time drummer Shawn Drover, who has been in the band for the last ten years, and guitarist Christopher "Chris" Broderick, in the band since 2008, have both announced their departures from the group today in quick succession. Broderick cited "artistic and musical differences" and Drover will be pursuing his own musical interests. It's just founding members Mustaine and Ellefson in the band now.

Megadeth - Enter Studio In January, To Auction Decades Of Tour Memorabilia

Megadeth's frontman Dave Mustaine has recently revealed that the band is gearing up to start recording the follow-up to 2013's Super Collider album. Speaking to the "Classic Rock Magazine Show", at Classic Rock Roll Of Honour event at the Avalon in Hollywood, California, Mustaine said: "We're commencing the writing process right now and we're going to start [recording] in January of next year. We'll be touring in August with a very huge English metal band in the States and South America, and we're hoping to get our record out sometime in the summer."
