Metallica Through The Never will be released in North America exclusively into IMAX theatres for a one-week engagement starting on September 27th. The 3D film will expand into additional theatres on October 4th and Metallica are in Toronto where Metallica Through The Never will make its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival today at 7:30 PM. It has now been confirmed that Metallica will also headline the 3rd edition of the Sonisphere festival in Switzerland on May 30th at Yverdon-les-Bains this year. Other bands confirmed are Slayer, Motörhead, Eluveitie, Mastodon and Gojira. As on all Sonisphere festivals this year, the band will play its self-titled Black Album, released in 1991.
