Origin - Unveil Another New Song

Death metallers Origin are less than one month away from releasing their upcoming album, Unparalleled Universe, which will arrive on June 30th via Nuclear Blast/Agonia Records, three years to follow up on 2014's Omnipresent. A few weeks ago, they uncovered their artwork through the 360º interactive video for the song "Accident And Error". Now the band is sharing a lyric video for another fresh tune called "Cascading Failures, Diminishing Returns" and you can watch it below.

Alice Cooper - To Perform With Original Band Members Again

Alice Cooper has announced that he will be reuniting with members of his original band and perform with Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith and Michael Bruce during his upcoming Nashville stop at TPAC, the Tennessee Performing Arts Center on May 14th. This will be a show within a show type situation, with Alice Cooper performing with his current touring band and with the original band members in a mini-set.

Quartz - Original Vocalist Passes Away

NWOBHM giants Quartz announced on their Facebook page that their original vocalist Mike "Taffy" Taylor passed away on September 27th. Taylor's last album with the band was 1980's sophomore effort, Stand Up And Fight, featuring the singles "Stoking Up The Fires Of Hell" and the title track.

Cradle Of Filth - Stream 'Dusk And Her Embrace - The Original Sin'

In case you didn't know yet, Cradle Of Filth will be releasing Dusk... And Her Embrace - The Original Sin via the recently resurrected extreme music label Cacophonous Records on July 8th. Recorded at Birmingham's Zella Studios in the Spring of 1995, Dusk... And Her Embrace - The Original Sin saw the band introduce Gothic elements to their extreme sound. However, soon after recording the band split, half of the band forming The Blood Divine, and the remaining members made the collective decision at the time to not release a record that was not representative of the new line-up. Entombed - Reunited Original Members Hope To Write New Material

Three original Entombed members - Alex Hellid (guitar), Ulf "Uffe" Cederlund (guitar) and Nicke Andersson (drums) - will rejoin forces for an appearance on the Close-Up Båten cruise, which will leave the Stockholm, Sweden port on October 27th for Åbo, Finland, and return the following day. The group will also perform their 1991 second landmark album, Clandestine, with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra in Malmö, Sweden on November 12th.

Black Earth - Original Arch Enemy Lineup Reunites For Shows

This could be interesting for Arch Enemy fans. The original line-up of the band will reunite and perform Arch Enemy's first three albums material live on stage as Black Earth. An extensive tour of Japan in May was announced today! Last year, Arch Enemy performed at Loudpark in Japan and during that show the group was joined on stage by the rest of the original founding members, singer Johan Liiva and guitarist Christopher Amott. The original lineup made the band's classic first three albums: Black Earth, Stigmata and Burning Bridges; the exception being bassist Sharlee D'Angelo who only joined in 1999 but has been in the band ever since.
