Overkill - Announce New Live Release, Share First Clip

Good news for New Jersey thrashers Overkill fans, as the band will release a new live album: Live In Overhausen on May 18 via Nuclear Blast. Celebrating the band's history, Live In Overhausen captured not one but two album anniversaries. Fans assembled on April 16th, 2016 at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany for the 25th anniversary of Horrorscope and 30th anniversary of where it all began, Feel The Fire. The group has also released the first visuals online, for the song "Hammerhead". Enjoy!

Overkill - New Material In Progress

Hard-working New Jersey thrashers Overkill have returned to the studio to resume work on demos reportedly for their upcoming album. According to a post on their Facebook page, at least four new songs are in varying stages of completion at the moment, with more to come. The group released The Grinding Wheel just last year.

Overkill - D.D. Verni Releases Lyric Video From Debut Solo Album

Overkill songwriter and bassist, D.D. Verni, has plans to release his first solo album in 2018 and is currently looking for a label to call home. Verni states: "I'm psyched to get this disc out, we had a lot of fun and a lot of great players contributed". The album was mixed and mastered by Chris "Zeuss" Harris (Rob Zombie, Queensrÿche, Hatebreed). Get a first taste with the lyric video for the song "Fire Up", featuring guitarist Mike Orlando, below.

Overkill - Announce Australian Tour Dates

American thrash metal icons, Overkill, have announced a string of live shows in Australia, kicking off in Adelaide at the end of February next year. The "wrecking crew" is currently promoting the acclaimed eighteenth studio album, The Grinding Wheel, which was released earlier in 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records. Overkill - To Headline 2017's Metal Alliance Tour

The lineup for 2017's Metal Alliance Tour is now officially revealed and this time around, New Jersey thrash legends Overkill will headline. Sharing the platform on this trek will be Crowbar, Havok, Black Fast, and Invidia. This year's event is presented by Fear The Riff Expo and it will make twenty stops across the United States. The journey begins on September 8th in Illinois and concludes on September 30th in Easton, Pennsylvania. You can check out the dates below and get your tickets here.

Overkill - Recruit New Drummer

Overkill - Reveal New Album Details

Veteran New Jersey-based thrashers Overkill have announced the details of their upcoming eighteenth studio album, The Grinding Wheel, which is due for release on February 10th, 2017. The new album follows up their 2014 record, White Devil Armory. The news was revealed by the band's label Nuclear Blast. The album is produced by the band themselves and mixed by Andy Sneap. Travis Smith has created the cover artwork.

Overkill - To Release Single, Snippet Launched

As you probably know, Overkill will be releasing a new album in the near future called The Grinding Wheel. While the New Jersey thrashers put the finishing touches on the album, the band gives their fans a taster of what to expect from their forthcoming record, a brand-new single called "Our Finest Hour", which will be released in the first week of Overkill's European tour, on November 4th. Overkill - To Play Two Albums In Full At Special Show

Legendary thrashers Overkill have announced a very special anniversary show at Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany on April 16th, 2016. On that evening, the band will play the records Horrorscope (1991) and Feel The Fire 1985) in their entirety. As if this wasn't enough, the show will be recorded for an upcoming DVD release as well! It will be a night to remember.

Overkill - Begin Work On New Material

Vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth of veteran New Jersey thrashers Overkill was recently interviewed and confirmed some good news. The thrash group is already writing new songs for their next album, the successor of White Devil Armory. Overkill are currently touring North America with Symphony X and have UK/Ireland tour dates set for 2016 as well as South American tour dates this December.

Overkill - To Release 1995-2007 Box Set

Fans of New Jersey-based thrash metal veterans Overkill take notice. The group recently inked a new worldwide deal with Nuclear Blast Records and their first worldwide release on Nuclear Blast will be a special box set, HistoriKill: 1995 - 2007 which will be released on October 16th and will include eleven Overkill albums on 13 CDs and a bonus CD (including demos, remixes and an unreleased cover song) in digi sleeves.
