The album was recorded at Hansen Studio in Ribe, Denmark with producer Mat Sinner and engineer Jacob Hansen. This new album will feature the band's new drummer Francesco Jovino (ex-U.D.O.) and the return of founding member Tom Naumann. You can expect to know more about it in the near future.

There are a few changes happening in Primal Fear. Brazilian drummer Aquiles Priester, who joined the power metallers just last year is now out of the band. Who will replace him? Francesco Jovino. After 10 years behind the drums for U.D.O., Francesco joins Primal Fear. And also founding member Tom Naumann joins the band as an official member! After two years touring with Primal Fear, Tom is now back as a full member. Magnus Karlsson will remain a member of the band and will co-write the new album of the band.

He will replace Randy Black who left due to irreconcilable differences between him and vocalist Ralf Scheepers. Aquiles Priester is the drummer and founder for the Brazilian heavy metal band Hangar. He was also the drummer for Angra until 2009.

German power metal act Primal Fear announced that the band has split with drummer Randy Black due to irreconcilable differences between him and vocalist Ralf Scheepers. Black will perform with the band at the Summer Breeze Festival this weekend and then immediately be relieved of duties. Black joined the band in 2003 and performed on the last six studio releases dating back to 2004's Devil's Ground.
