Twisted Sister - Consider Legal Action Against Australian Political Candidate

Australian businessman and former Member for Fairfax Clive Palmer has been advertising his return to the political area for a while now. And now appears to have gained some overseas attention, with U.S. rockers Twisted Sister considering legal action over Palmer's use of their song "We're Not Gonna Take It" in his latest TV add.

Northlane - Win ARIA Award

Northlane recently won their 2nd ARIA Award, with their album Mesmer beating out Airbourne (Breaking Outta Hell), Frenzal Rhomb (Hi-Vis High Tea), King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (Murder Of The Universe) and Sleepmakeswaves (Made Of Breath Only) for the Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album category. Their previous album, Node, also won in 2015.

Cadaveria And Necrodeath - To Release Split EP

Italy's Cadaveria have announced that they are recording an EP alongside fellow Italians Necrodeath. As stated on their website and Facebook page, a year and a half after the release of their latest album Silence, horror metallers Cadaveria have entered the recording studios to work on the production of an EP.

Cadaveria - Announce New Bassist

Apparently, Italian act Cadaveria have parted ways with long time bassist Killer Bob at the start of May. On the 29th, they announced Enough To Kill and Necrodeath bassist Gianluca Fontana, under the pseudonym of Peter Dayton, as his replacement.

Darkestrah - Vocalist Leaves The Band, Replacement Announced

Kyrgyzstan's pagan black metal act Darkestrah announced that their long-time vocalist Kreigtalith has left the group after 15 years. Being in the band since the very beginning, Kreigtalith participated on all five full length albums. In the meantime, Darkestrah already found the replacement. The new vocalist of the band is Merkith.
