American doom metal band Witch Mountain has introduced new members. Through a recent interview, the band announced that the 19-year-old singer Kayla Dixon will take the place of Uta Plotkin, who announced her departure from the band before the release of their latest album Mobile Of Angels. Also, Justin Brown is the new bassist replacing Charles Thomas, who also left the band. The group also announced North American tour dates. Check out below a rehearsal video of the new line-up.
The vocalist of American doom metal band Witch Mountain, Uta Plotkin, revealed during a recent interview (here) that she plans to leave the band for new projects. This announcement was issued a few months before the release of the fourth album titled Mobile Of Angels. Uta Plotkin is a member of the band since 2009 and participated in three albums.
Symphonic metal band Nightwish reveled the first trailer of their new studio album. The Finns' yet-untitled new album is in the making and today the band reveals a first glimpse into it. American blackened sludge metal band Wolvhammer has revealed new details about their third studio album. It will be entitled Clawing Into Black Sun. In this new work, Wolvhammer mix "black metal, death rock, and punk into even more lethal volatile territory," according to their label Profound Lore Records. The band also released the new single "Death Division", available to stream on Soundcloud as a taste of the album.

Gothic/doom metal band Draconian has announced through their official sources that the search for a new singer has ended. Joining their ranks is Heike Langhans, a South African singer. She will replace Lisa Johansson, who left the band last year.
Swedish gothic/doom metallers Draconian have started writing new material. The band posted the following update on their Facebook page: "This weekend new lyrical creations will come to life. I am again collaborating with Författare (fotograf) Therés Stephansdotter Björk - who has contributed before with her poetry. Songs like 'Seasons Apart', 'She Dies', 'Not Breathing' and 'The Failure Epiphany' (among others) got a certain depth and presence thanks to Therés. She was also our photographer and a dear long-time friend of the band. The lyrical work for next album starts Now."
