Naglfar - To Re-Release First Two Albums

Naglfar have announced the re-release of their 1995 debut album Vittra, and their 1998 sophomore album, Diabolical. Both were remastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studio, and album covers were revamped and redesigned by Ogino Design. They will be out on July 14th, 2023, via Century Media Records.

Grand Cadaver - Unveil 'The Wishful Dead' Track

Swedish death metal super group Grand Cadaver, featuring Dark Tranquillity's Mikael Stanne on vocals, have just released "The Wishful Dead" single from their upcoming second album, to be released later this year through Majestic Mountain Records. The upcoming music effort was recorded by Per Stålberg, Kalle Lilja and Daniel 'Dollars' Deurell at Welfare Studios, Gothenburg. Mixed by Per Stålberg and mastered by Johan Reivén (Audiolord Mastering).

Midnight Odyssey - Live Debut At Cosmic Void Festival Followed By Select European Shows

After the announcement that Midnight Odyssey would perform live for the first time ever at Cosmic Void Festival in London, one question remained: was this going to be a one-off or was it the signal for a new era including more live performances. Well, at least Danes will get the opportunity to see the band live as well, as Dis Pater announced yesterday that they will perform on the 21st of September at Spillestedet Stengade in Copenhagen. He also revelaed that keyboards on these shows will be performed by Timothy James "Tim" Yatras a.k.a. Sorrow from Austere and Germ. The rest of the line-up remains unknown so far.

Benighted - Drummer Reveals He Is Creature From Abbath, Leaving Both Bands

You thought Baard Koldstadt was Abbath's drummer under the name of Creature? Well he was not. Kevin Foley, Benighted's drummer, has just revealed he was the mighty Creature. He has been working with Abbath on their tour this year, and also performed on Abbath's new album. He was because he is now leaving Abbath for personal reasons. Surprisingly, he is also leaving Benighted after ten years, but will be touring with them for the last time on January/February.

Schammasch - To Release Remastered Version Of 'Sic Lvceat Lvx'

Extreme metallers Schammasch have good news for their fans. The band, which released the acclaimed Contradiction album in 2014 that eventually made it to Metal Storm Awards 2014, is now going to reissue a remastered version of their first opus Sic Luceat Lux. The remastering will be done by V. Santura (Dark Fortress, Triptykon) who also produced Contradiction. Everyone will know who did the artwork by the look of it and yes, it is Metastazis (who also did Contradiction's artwork). You can hear the remastered version of "Black But Shining" below now.

Trepalium - Forced To Change The Name Of Their Last EP

Following the complaint of the American band The Voodoo Moonshine, Trepalium have decided to change the name of their last EP in order to avoid a lawsuit. Their 2014 Voodoo Moonshine EP will now be called by the name of the EP's second track "Damballa's Voodoo Doll". The first edition of the EP is thus a collector's item.

Crimson Shadows - Launch Indiegogo Campaign To Tour With Alestorm

The music industry is ruthless. Crimson Shadows have been offered to get on tour across Europe with Alestorm this autumn, but they are experiencing some difficulties. After having bought a new van to tour USA this summer, they couldn't cross the boarder, and are now facing huge debts. That's why they have launched an Indiegogo campaign, to refund these debts and get the opportunity to tour Europe next month.

Equilibrium - New Guitarist Announced, New Video Online

Swedish outfit Deathstars has announced that the upcoming March/April European tour Claws Through Europe has been postponed and rescheduled. The reason for this is that the band's upcoming album has been pushed back too. Wulf, the man behind the Neurotech project from Slovenia, never sleeps. Barren Earth - New Vocalist Announced

Following the departure of Mikko Kotamäki due to conflicting schedules a few months ago, Barren Earth had been looking for a new singer while working on new material, which has been described as "mournful, winding, hopeful, ambitious and rugged". They've just announced that Jón Aldará, Hamferð's vocalist, will join them as the new lead vocalist. He will take part in Barren Earth's third full-length album which the group plans to start recording during the spring of 2014.

"Triumph", the new single from Slovenian industrial metal one man band Neurotech, is now available for streaming below through the lyric video.
