Acclaimed folk black metal quartet Agalloch have unveiled a new song titled "Celestial Effigy" which is available for streaming over at Pitchfork or below. The track is taken off their upcoming album The Serpent & The Sphere which is due to hit the shelves on the 13th of May this year via Profound Lore Records in North America followed by an European release by Eisenwald on May 19th. This is the first taste available from the new album so far.
Beneath the burden of their fans' anticipation with regards to the new vocalist, Barren Earth plans to enter the studio in March to partially record the follow-up to their 2012 release, The Devil's Resolve. Due to keyboardist Kasper Mårtenson's schedule conflicts, they will return to the studio to finish off the album later in the year.
