Swedish hard rockers Europe have a treat in store for their fans. The band will perform their 1984 album Wings Of Tomorrow live on their Swedish tour in March. They will play the album in its entirety, plus some new songs and other Europe hits.
"Mechanically Divine" is the new Sinemax Produktion-directed video from thrashers Darkane. The song chosen for the video is taken from the band's latest album The Sinister Supremacy, which was released in June 2013, their first in five years. Legendary Florida death metallers Massacre will release their long-awaited comeback album, Back From Beyond, on March 24th in Europe and April 1st in North America via Century Media Records. Massacre are returning to the roots of their early 90's trademark sound, the album was recorded and mixed by Tim Vazquez of CGM Studios, Florida, and features original members Rick Rozz (guitars, ex-Mantas/Death), Terry Butler (bass, Obituary, ex-Death / Six Feet Under) as well as Ed Webb (vocals, ex-Diabolic / Eulogy) and Mike Mazzonetto (drums, ex-Pain Principle).

Recently, guitarist Kirk Hammett admitted he was disappointed that Metallica Through The Never didn't do better, but Metallica's IMAX 3D concert film won the Best 3D Documentary award at the International 3D & Advanced Imaging Society's fifth annual Creative Arts Awards. Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujillo were in attendance to receive the award.
Swedish metallers Sonic Syndicate have entered Bohus Sound studios in Kungälv, Sweden. The band's new effort is set to be released in the summer of 2014 via Nuclear Blast and is being recorded and produced together with renowned producer Roberto Laghi (In Flames, Mustasch).

Good news for Mekong Delta fans. The German progressive thrashers are working on their new album to follow their 2010 release Wanderer On The Edge Of Time. This new opus will be released on the 25th of April in Germany, on the 28th of April in the rest of Europe and the 29th in the U.S.
Iron Maiden will headline the opening night of the Arras Main Square Festival in France on July 3rd. The four day festival takes place between July 3rd-6th. The band's 2014 tour will include dates in countries not visited during the 2013 leg and will be a much shorter run than is usual for a Maiden tour. Swedish power metallers Sabaton have confirmed on their official website that they will be touring with Iron Maiden this summer and accompany them on some shows in Sweden and Russia. The band's latest release, Carolus Rex, came out in May 2012.
Iron Maiden have announced more dates to their Maiden England European Tour, this time a show in The Netherlands and another Swedish date. The band also added an additional Frankfurt date due to the demand for tickets.
