Serenity - Debut New Music Video

Austria's symphonic metallers Serenity have released a new video! They will unleash their fifth album, Codex Atlanticus, on January 29th via Napalm Records. Codex Atlanticus is a concept album about Leonardo Da Vinci, and while you won't get the full impact by hearing one song, "Follow Me" is a good place to start. Lacuna Coil - Part Ways With Guitarist

Lacuna Coil have lost yet another member. In the last two years, the band parted ways with drummer Cristiano "Criz" Mozzati and guitarist Cristiano Migliore. Now long-time guitarist Marco Emanuele Biazzi has also left the group. Lacuna Coil recently entered BRX Studio in Milan to record their new album, Delirium, for a tentative May release via Century Media.

How about a new song from German a cappella power metal band Van Canto? They will release a new album called Voices Of Fire on March 16th, 2016 via earMUSIC. As a first taste of the new release, the band brings you the lyric video for the first single "Clashings On Armour Plates," which can be viewed below. Avantasia - N. American Shows, In Eurovision Preliminary Round

Avantasia, the band created by Edguy frontman Tobias Sammet, has big news to share today. They have announced that the band will play some shows in North America, which will include their second appearance in Canada. Musicians already confirmed for the shows are: Michael Kiske, Jørn Lande, Eric Martin, Ronnie Atkins, Amanda Somerville, Herbie Langhans, Sascha Paeth and Oliver Hartmann. Furthermore, Avantasia will take part in the preliminary TV casting show to choose the candidate to represent Germany at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm this May. The group will compete with its current single, "Mystery Of A Blood Red Rose".

Black Tusk - New Song Online

On November 9th, 2014, Black Tusk bassist Jonathan Athon died after suffering severe injuries in a motorcycle accident. With the band's future in question, guitarist Andrew Fidler and drummer James May decided to keep Black Tusk going, in memory of Athon - and just as he would've wished it. Their forthcoming album, Pillars Of Ash will arrive on January 29th, 2016 via Relapse Records. The band has shared a new cut from the album, "Desolation Of Endless Times", which the trio says "sums up the kind of year the band's had." You can listen to it right here.

Iron Maiden - To Play In China For First Time Ever

Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden will make their highly anticipated first-ever visit to China in April on The Book Of Souls World Tour, playing at Beijing LeSports Center on April 24th and Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena on April 26th. The band is promoting their double album The Book Of Souls. Iron Maiden announced last year that touring plans to support the album wouldn't happen until 2016 to allow singer Bruce Dickinson time to fully recuperate after his successful cancer treatment.
