08:48 - RedOctober 2015 has been crappy for Prog death so far :'( except for Alkaloid :)
08:16 - Joe Zombie am i the only one who finds bell witch totally average and boring?
01:58 - Ap46 Well, anything would get better if Laure kicks in, though i fear she was a bit overused in Corpo Mente, she displayed all her vocal ability in every Corpo-Mente's track, which gets just a little bit tiresome by the end.
01:51 - Mechaniacal At this point, I need Laure in everything Igorrr-related. I'd go as far as to say his music would be empty to me without her. Laure has one of the best voices out there.
Finnish symphonic metallers Nightwish will embark on a North American headlining tour in September with support from Kamelot.
The band commented: "Prepare your voices for screaming and your heads for dreaming! We are bringing Imaginaerum over to North America! This will be the one and only North American leg during the Imaginaerum World Tour, so make sure you'll be there!"
Helloween have released a video for the new version of the song "Dr. Stein". The clip was shot with Oliver Sommer from AVA Studios. According to a press release, the clip is described as "a comical video where the guys don't take themselves too serious and intentionally present the band in a very self-ironic way!"
Helloween's upcoming Unarmed - Best Of 25th Anniversary compilation album will be released in Europe on January 29, 2010. A US release date has yet to be announced.
Stratovarius have issued the following update from the road, revealing details on future tour and album endeavours:
"We're still in the middle of the Polaris world tour, but we do have a bit of news.
The European summer festivals earlier this year were nice and relaxing as always, and then we embarked on a long three-month leg which covered the Far East, North and South America, and Finland. One highlight was Beijing, a place none of us in the band had played or visited before. Some of bassist Lauri Porra's video blogs from the past year can be found at this location.
After a break for the holidays, the caravan will roll on in 2010, and we will do a long tour of Europe in January and February. You can always check an up-to-date list of any upcoming dates at this address.
