Teenage Time Killers is a new punk/metal project brought to you by Corrosion Of Conformity founder and drummer Reed Mullin. Their debut album Greatest Hits Vol. 1 is 20 punk/metal tunes featuring some of the genre's favourite sons. It is set to be released on 31st July 2015 on Rise Records. Akurion - New Project Feat. Members Of Cryptopsy And Neuraxis

Ex-Cryptopsy vocalist Mike DiSalvo has teamed up with former and current Neuraxis members, guitarist Rob Milley, bassist Oli Pinard and drummer Tommy McKinnon for a new project called Akurion. The band has just released their first song "Yet Ye See Them Not" and you can listen to it here along with a teaser.

AC/DC - Drummer Charged With Attempting To Procure Murder

Things aren't going well for AC/DC lately. Recently, their founding guitarist Malcolm Young left the band after his family announced he was suffering from dementia. Now drummer Phil Rudd has been charged with attempting to procure murder of two men in New Zealand. He has appeared in New Zealand's Tauranga District Court where he was charged with the attempted murder as well as drug charges and was subsequently released on bail. The identities of the intended victims and potential hitman have been suppressed by the judge.

Jesper Strömblad - Elaborates On Why He Left In Flames

Originally Jesper Strömblad cited recovery from alcoholism as the main reason for leaving popular Swedish band In Flames back in 2010. But the guitarist has now announced on his Facebook page while answering questions from fans that the main reason was that he and the rest of the band saw the band heading in different directions. Indeed it would appear that Jesper would've preferred the band to stay a melodic death metal band as opposed to the more alternative metal/rock approach they have adopted over the last decade or so.

Entombed A.D. - Second New Song Released

Entombed A.D. which is a slightly renamed version of Swedish death metallers Entombed (detailed here) have released a new track called "Vulture And The Traitor" from their forthcoming album Back To The Front. North Carolina metallers Corrosion Of Conformity have a new album due out on the 23rd of June in Europe and June 24th in North America. The band came up with the incredibly imaginative title of IX. Prong - Release Lyric Video For New Song

The boys from Prong are back at it with a new rifftastic tune called "Turnover." This song will be featured on the new album Ruining Lives, released through Steamhammer/SPV in Scandinavia on April 23rd, in Germany on April 25th, in the rest of Europe on April 28th and will be made available in North America on May 13th. Overkill - New Album Title Revealed

And the name of the new Overkill album is.... White Devil Armory! The band revealed it on their official Twitter account and also promised more details soon. For now, it is known that some song titles include "Pig," "Where There's Smoke" and "Amorist." Also, the album is tentatively due out in July in North America via eOne Music and in Europe through Nuclear Blast Records.
