The singer Tomi Joutsen, from Nevergreen, is the new singer of Amorphis, according to a message posted on the band's website (http://www.nevergreen.org/).
"New Amorphis singer is Tomi Joutsen. The band brought him into stage this evening (8.1.05). Amorphis did a benefit show and gave the income over to The United Nations Children´s Fund to help kids who suffered Tsunami. This page is going to be updated next week with new photos and news regarding new album etc... The band says that new songs are stronger than ever".

According to the CHILDREN OF BODOM fan site Scythes-of-Bodom.com, CHILDREN OF BODOM guitarist Alexi Laiho broke his arm and will most likely be forced to sit out the upcoming "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (DAMAGEPLAN, PANTERA) tribute concert that is scheduled to be held in Helsinki, Finland on January 15, 2005. Laiho's replacement for the concert will be announced at a later date.
