Anathema has announced the release of Untouchable, a new double vinyl live release via their label Kscope. In May 2012, Anathema released the album Weather Systems and embarked on a lengthy world tour. The European part of the tour opened with a special one-off gig in Bulgaria at the ancient Roman theatre of Philippopolis where the band were joined by the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra. Untouchable captures the magic of that unique evening.

French atmospheric doom metallers Lethian Dreams have finished recording their second album, the follow-up to Bleak Silver Streams. The new album will be entitled Season Of Raven Words and will be released in 2012. There is also a new song online, "Dawn", and you can listen to it on the video below.
The band states: "We have finished recording our 2nd full length album. This new work is entitled Season Of Raven Words and will probably be released first quarter of 2012."
Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie have announced that they have finished the work on their new album Helvetios, due out in 2012. The band posted this message on their official website: "We can finally say 'it's done'! The final mastering has been finished during the last week, and yesterday already a first prelistening-session for invited press representatives has taken place at Nuclear Blast's offices in Donzdorf, Germany. We believe it's our best work yet, and it seems we're not the only ones!"
Late October, Lisa announced to her fellow bandmembers she'd decided to leave Draconian starting as soon as possible. It had been on the table for some time.

Lisa has, since her appearance on the Draconian demo Dark Oceans We Cry, continued to astonish and melt thousands of people's hearts over the years with her emotional vocal. The addition of Lisa is what helped us to get our long awaited record contract. We are very aware what she has meant to our band and the legacy she's left us with.
