Katatonia - Drummer Daniel Liljekvist Leaves The Band
After losing guitarist Per "Sodomizer" Eriksson earlier this year, Katatonia face another line-up change. This time it is long-time drummer Daniel Liljekvist who is leaving the band. JP Asplund will take over on their Dethroned & Uncrowned - Unplugged & Reworked Tour next month and stand-in drummer Daniel Moilanen will accompany the band on the summer festivals.

Candlemass - Voted Best Band In Sweden Ever
Scandinavia's biggest music magazine, Sweden Rock Magazine, has voted doom metallers Candlemass the best band in Sweden ever. In issue 100 (to be released on January 8th), 40 rock/metal journalists have voted on the 100 best Swedish bands through time, and Candlemass came in as number one.

"We know you're all very curious on what will happen surrounding our new DVD. To start things off, we posted 2 clips online in high resolution quality. As the quality of Youtube isn't great, we wanted to put these online, for you to see how amazing "Black Symphony" looks!

The single will be released on September 12, so you will notice a slight delay in the arrival of the single through our webshop."

You can now watch a clip of Within Temptation's new upcoming DVD "Black Symphony"! Through this link you can check out the song "Solemn Hour".
As Quoted Official: "Black Symphony will be released on double-DVD, double-CD and Blu-Ray disc on September 22nd. As mentioned earlier, it will contain the full concert we did at the Ahoy Rotterdam together with the 60-piece Metropole Orchestra and a 30-voice classical choir, as well as on-stage stilt performers, costume changes, and an array of stunning pyrotechnic, lighting effects and a 400m2 video screen with great WT visuals. The DVD will also contain a lot of extra footage from the show in Beursgebouw, amongst other bonus materials. More info on this will follow soon!"
