The Dutch hard rock outfit Vandenberg, led by Adrian Vandenberg, have announced that Mats Levén will be joining the band as a lead singer. The powerhouse vocalist is known for his work with Yngwie Malmsteen, Candlemass and tours with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, among many other bands. To celebrate this new coming together, they have announced their only show of 2021 with the new line-up at the Planet Rockstock Festival at Trecco Bay, Wales, on Friday 12th November.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the passing of Chuck Schuldiner, former Death members - guitarist James Murphy and bassist Terry Butler - will reunite to perform the band's third album, Spiritual Healing (released in 1990), in its entirety at two shows in Florida. With drummer Gus Rios from Gruesome and Exhumed guitarist/vocalist Matt Harvey, the four-piece will share the stage at The Brass Mug in Tampa, FL on December 11 & 12.
