Countermove - Dutch Musicians Releasing Charity Single For Red Cross

Recently, we found out about a new project, The Countermove Foundation, which was born in 2014 as an initiative of professional musicians from The Netherlands. We knew they were working on something together but now it's been revealed that it is a charity single for the Red Cross. This first project is a large-scale collaboration between major and emerging Dutch metal artists in support of the Red Cross, in occasion of 3FM Serious Request 2014, a Dutch charity event that is organised every year by one of their biggest radio stations. Donations will bring help to victims of sexual violence in conflict territories. A video preview is available below.

Sanctuary - Confirm European Tour Dates

Insomnium - Joining Ensiferum On Their European Tour

Insomnium will be the special guests and accompany Ensiferum on their European tour next year. Metallica - Release Preview Of 'This Monster Lives'

Recently, Metallica announced the re-release of the film Some Kind Of Monster, which is set for November 24th on Blackened Recordings. This two-disc Blu-ray and DVD sets include Metallica: This Monster Lives, a 25-minute follow-up piece. Well, now you can watch a clip of that right here where the band looks back at Some Kind Of Monster after so many years. James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich think it helped the band.

Igorrr - EP With Ruby My Dear Coming In December, Samples Online

Igorrr said earlier this year that he was working on several new releases, including an EP in collaboration with Ruby My Dear. Well, now Gautier "Igorrr" Serre has spilled the beans and revealed everything about it. Eluveitie - Part Ways With Patrick Kistler

Patrick "Päde" Kistler is no longer in Eluveitie. The band just shared the news with "a heavy heart" and while they make no further comment at this time, they wish him all the best for his future endeavours. He was in Eluveitie for six years and four albums playing the bagpipes, whistles, and also acoustic guitars. Meanwhile, multi-instrumentalist Matteo Sisti (Krampus) has stepped in to replace him temporarily on their European tour.
