The sentence was handed down by the Svea appeals court and Sidegård will only be doing six months for assault, a less serious offense, as opposed to the 18 that he'd been originally sentenced to. The musician was also ordered to pay his wife 16,000 Swedish kronor (approximately $2,500) in damages plus interest.
