UPDATE (thanks to BudDa)

Avatar (no, not that Avatar) will be supporting Dark Tranquillity in Scandinavia in October. In other words, Avatar will be taking over support duties from Insomnium on the final dates of the tour, as marked with an asterisk.

The Swedish melodic death metal band commented: "We are very happy to break the news that Avatar will support Dark Tranquillity on the Scandinavian leg of their fall tour! So you all out there will get the chance to catch both of your favorite bands on the same stage"

I don't mind too much about Insomnium so it's alright, all I need is DT in a decent club But what are you talking about Ferrylines being cancelled, of course there's still Vaasa-Umea ferry going, check out rgline.com You can take your car with you too.

I would like see both bands there because I like both and its better how some ''crappy'' warm up bands like in Blaze Bayleg gig
Its about 400km south from here till Umea(in summer mightbe a good trip) , so then better bus Lulea-Haparanda/Tornea-Oulu, and busses goes offen and not expenice

Malmö is Skåne, and Skåne is danish! *nod* Jokes aside, I don't care about Malmö. Malmö isn't important in this question :p No Insomnium in Gothenburg! Perhaps they'll have Avatar instead there, that would be awesome!

Shipwrecked - 05.03.2010 at 06:02
Good to know that on European tours, legendary melodeath bands aren't opening for stupid emo bands like Devil Wears Prada.
Warman - 05.03.2010 at 19:19
Avatar's cool, at least the second album is. It'll be interesting to see what I think of them live this time.
Bushwookie - 06.09.2010 at 19:53
This is the part where I don't like living in Canada
