22:21 - Erik M. Saying it's a science fiction movie doesn't somehow prove it's scientifically incorrect. The ending for example is science fiction without a doubt, but you can't call that "scientifically inaccurate" because it's meant
22:21 - 3rdWorld You have any clue what you are claiming? Even Neil Degrasse Tyson agrees that the movie is absolutely accurate on all scientific fronts. Here it is [link]
22:18 - moonflash It's a science fiction movie. Of course there are going to be inaccuracies in it. People don't normally go to movies to learn science but to have fun. Sure, there was a scientific consultant for the film, but even Avengers had one
22:14 - Erik M. Loads of scientific inaccuracies? Funny how you claim to know better than someone such as Kip Thorne. Scientifically the movie is pretty damn correct.
22:12 - 3rdWorld @Erik Indeed, I am not getting it, PM me.
22:12 - moonflash Interstellar was nice, but there are loads of scientific inaccuracies in it. The concept of wormholes is explored quite effectively though and I read somewhere that the blackhole imagery was an actual scientific simulation
22:09 - Erik M. You're missing my point, due to possible spoilers, I think. I'm aguing it's a paradox... if you still don't know what I mean I'll PM you.
