The Funeral Orchestra have teamed up with Ocean Chief for the release of The Northern Lights II. The album will be released somewhere in summer. Each band performs one lengthy number on this split release, Ocean Chief with the track "Born", while The Funeral Orchestra do their first track all in Swedish, called "Den Morka Shamanens Glod". The cover artwork for The Northern Lights II can be found here.

This news makes me so happy. High time to respect yer fuckin' Ocean Chief once more!
And Marcel, this will be a good excuse for me to hear some Funeral Orchestra and see if they satisfy my craving for Runemagick.
EDIT: And btw I urge you to get 'Horseback Battlehammer' by Conan, very nice Sleep-worship/ sludge doom. |
