Not surprising really - the summer dates seemed on the optimistic side from the start.
Hope Dio are on the way to a full and complete recovery... |
| I they get a good replacement. Halford for the Swedish Sonisphere, for example! |
| I can totally understand the cancellation. I hope Ronnie James Dio gets well soon. |

I think it was a stupid decision for them to book all these shows when they didn't know Ronnie would be 100% better by the time.
Bloodstock will need to find another headliner now. |

Well, we had it coming I guess, it was too good to be true...Agree with Baz, they shouldn't have made the commitment in the first place, not with Ronnie's condition...It was gonna be the first time I see Ronnie live, and definitely one of the reasons I got myself a ticket for the Sonisphere show, but Ronnie's all that's important now - all my best wishes!!!
Still, I hope a replacement will be announced... |

| Fight through the pain, Dio! So that you may continue to bless Metal. |
| DIG DEEP DIO! you've gotta pull through. |

Disappointing but we all saw it coming. Apparently Dio is doing well so thank Thor for that |
| Disappointing, but not surprising. |
| Damn, oh well. Get well soon Dio |
| Well, this was pretty obvious since the beginning, Ronnie has cancer, not a simple headache... |

| He is still rehearsing at the moment, so maybe he will be back one day. Get better Ronnie. |
Shit!!!!
But Iwish he get well soon. |

Not at all surprised. Would actually have been surprised if they showed up. Hope you get well soon Dio!
Anyway, give me Dream Theater now! |

Ronnie take care plz!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Imo it would have been somewhat of a disgrace to see them play before The Big 4 of Thrash.
i might be idealistic here, but i think in terms of musical quality and influence, it's those 4 bands who should open for H&H, and definitely not the other way around. |
