Veteran thrashers Sodom have entered the studio to record the new album, In War and Pieces. According to the band, the album will be released later this year, on November 22th by the SPV/Steamhammer record label.
Famous producer Waldemar Sorychta - who previously worked with such acts as Tiamat, Moonspell and Sentenced - has been hired for the recordings.
Sodom bassist/vocalist Thomas "Angelripper" Such recently said the following about the new material: "There has never been a Sodom album which is so wide-ranged, as powerful and as typically Sodom as this one."

Well, "Obsessed By Cruelty" is unlistenable to me!  But aside from that, yeah they've never really disappointed. lol xD |

I see what you are saying.... The first two albums from Sodom are a bit tough to get into, got to be into that early black metal stuff. But ya other than that everything is fucking awesome!!!! |
