Leaves' Eyes vocalist Liv Kristine has premiered her new video "Skintight", available below. The clip was directed and produced by Patric Ullaeus. The song is taken from Liv Kristine's new solo album Skintight, out on Napalm Records at the end of the month. All album details were reported earlier at this location.

Well, I'm kinda biased here.... Deus Ex Machina was an incredible record, it had a lot of influences of darkwave, it had spirit and diversity... Now she seems to be getting more and more average. The video - yea, she's a beauty, but her parading around in a bunch of different outfits is nothing innovative. The song is nothing special either, imho.

After watching and listening to this and to Tristania's video and Liv's video here, I'm much more interested in Liv's new album. Since they both come out on the same day on Napalm Records, I think I know which one I may be ordering then. Honestly, I have a feeling I'll like this new solo album more than Leaves' Eyes's last one, which just never interested me much. I like her vocals here as well, especially the more raw, verse-parts. I have become a little tired of hearing her sing with a layered vocal mix. And yes, I still like her old ToT performances on the post-Aegis albums, so hopefully this new album will be a good addition to that.
