Ayreon/Guilt Machine mastermind Arjen Anthony Lucassen has revealed more details regarding a new Star One album.

The successor of 2002's Space Metal will be entitled Victims Of The Modern Age. In a video message Lucassen announced the new album is finished and slated for a release somewhere in late October 2010.

This better be good. Star one is the only Arjen project that I find myself interested. All the rest were rather boring for me.

I could view the video with sound atm, and he looked like he's doing some silly Japanese animie choreography lol

Wow... I'm glad to see him return to an earlier project. Star One is fantastic and the first album came out around the same time as Universal Migrator Part 2: Flight of the Migrator (my favorite Ayreon album). I wonder if he'll add a similar thematic approach, in which, his lyrics will reflect modern science fiction movies.
