As you might have heard, cult progressive metal band Psychotic Waltz recently reunited. But now the band issued the news on their Facebook Page that also original guitarist Dan Rock has re-joined the fold, meaning Psychotic Waltz are back in their original setting.

Said the band: "Original guitar player Dan Rock returns. The circle is now complete. Huge thanks to Steve Cox for helping us get this thing back off the ground. We really appreciate everything you have done over the last year. Thank you Brother. We wouldn't be where we are now without your help."

Vocalist Devon Graves (also in Deadsoul Tribe) released the following statement in mid-September: "I am blown away by the response over Psychotic Waltz. I am really looking forward! In the meantime, please don't overlook my other band, The Shadow Theory. We have a new album out this November (October for the US) 2010. This album could be the highpoint of my career (so far). My intention is to be in both bands for the... future. Enjoy The Shadow Theory while Psychotic Waltz writes the new album. You have time."

And it seems like their support slot on the upcoming Power of Metal Tour is now official too! All five original members will embark on said European tour early next year as support of Nevermore and Symphony X on the following dates:

Nevermore AND Symphony X? that's fucking juicy(haven't listened to PW though). i don't know if i'll attend one of these or not, but it sure would make for a great modern metal concert.

A bloody overrated band! On the other hand Deadsoul tribe is so much underrated, that it is embarrassing.

How the hell is Psychotic Waltz overrated? Almost no one at all talks about them and they didn't sell well at all. Deadsoul Tribe is better known and has sold more. Though DST are good they are nowhere near as good as PW imo and also less original.

Yeah totally baffling to me as well that guy's statement. I think what he means is he doesn't like it and likes Deadsoul Tribe better.

Kap'N Korrupt - 06.10.2010 at 05:18
Psychotic Waltz is far from overrated haahaha...what a strange thing to say...anyway, its fucking fantastic to see them back together...what a random thing for them to get back together though and tour...Deadsoul Tribe is a boring band...just wish Waltz would do an American tour...
Paradox0 - 06.10.2010 at 06:59
I guess I'm jumping on the band wagon too. Overrated? I just got into them this year. I wonder if they'll be making a (disappointing?) comeback album.
Shuruga - 07.10.2010 at 16:49
Please let this tour come to America's East Coast.
