I heard about this too, it's probably true given some of the clues of the past months (Shavo's Twitter update etc). More s/t / Toxicity albums to come hopefully (fingers and assholes crossed). They're still the best band I ever saw live.

Those are damn gooooooood news! This band have potential to release more and more good albums. It's not metal though, but their music is very very interesting.

| For me it's not great news, at least they announce they will do some new music, but if it's just a "reunion" tour then im not excited about, on the other hand if they come around here i will see them |

| I listen to a lot of rather obscure Metal bands and I could easily fall into the Metal elitist stereotype and say they're a disgrace, but I'm actually happy SOAD might reunite. They have been way overplayed but they're actually a decent band with an interesting sound. |

| I like the direction this news is going. System of a Down is a very good band, one of the better USA-based mainstream bands. Matter of fact, I bought Toxicity on November 24. |
