Well, it's actually just 1 ex-member from Swallow The Sun. StS isn't known for being uninspired. Most of their stuff is quite compelling imo. They're one of my favorite bands.
I'm not really a fan of melodic death metal. Each of these songs start off exactly the same. Sounds bit like a watered down in-flames w/o flashy guitars. I can imagine this being fun live, but I'm already bored of it. |

I'm pretty sure when I saw them live, there was one of their shirts at the merchandise counter that said something like "The sun isn't the only thing we swallow" or something. I was like, "WTF". o_o But then I noticed a bottle of alcohol or something and it made more sense, but seriously... Why would you have that phrase printed on a shirt? |
