Saxon - Give You The Chance To Be On Their New Album


The band are currently in Brighton, England finishing the recording of their latest album Call To Arms.

If you can get to the studio tonight (10th February) at 20:00, then you can be part of the choir in one of their new songs, called "Back in '79".

Neat idea! I suppose there'll be some sort of screening process, though - if it's literally an open invitation to anyone who turns up, then it could sound frigging horrendous considering the possibility of certain participants being intoxicated, insane, or both!

Maybe it'll be more like a kind of 'gang shout' thing, rather than anything melodic. Or I suppose it may be trying to capture the vibe of fans singing along to a certain refrain during a concert or some such.

I wonder if all the participants will get a namecheck in the CD booklet?

I heard it somewhere and IMO some other band, mussican need pay to some children chorus for such think, but I dont remeber
