Finnish progressive death/doom metal band Ikuinen Kaamos have parted ways with vocalist Risto Herranen. The band is also working on new material.

Comments the band: "We are sorry to announce that we have parted ways with our singer Risto Herranen. It wasn't an easy decision but we felt it was the right one as we move forward. Risto is a good singer and a great person and we wish him nothing but the best in the future. At the moment we are in the midst of writing and rehearsing new material. Hopefully we can announce something sooner rather than later."

Hopefully these guys ditch the Opeth worship. Their debut was pretty good, but Fall of Icons just put me to sleep.

The forlorn is one of my favorite albums, hope they get something back from their black metal roots. Really expecting another great album
