I've got mixed feelings. In one respect it's leaps and bonds better than anything on Heretic (at least for me) but on the other hand it's not what I'd expect from an album a little bit less than a decade in the making.
Angelic Storm - 19.04.2011 at 11:03
Woah, now this is the Morbid Angel I know and love! And MUCH better than anything on "Heretic". The guitar sound is pure Morbid Angel, and if the rest of the album follows what this song is showing, it could easily have been the album after "Domination" and as if David Vincent never left. It has been a bit long in coming, but to hear this kind of sound from the guys again, I can't really grumble. Great song! xD

Although it's not bad, it's very boring and sounds washed up...
Mixhell - 19.04.2011 at 11:51
Not Bad
Narterath - 19.04.2011 at 12:03
It sounds like it's been composed by a computer. And the vocals sound awful I would say.
Kenos - 19.04.2011 at 12:57
Not bad (nothing special, however), but those vocals sound pretty weak.
StephenTheBoss - 19.04.2011 at 14:04
Lol sounds like an older Fear Factory song
Angelic Storm - 19.04.2011 at 14:06
I think the vocals are fine, aside from when he shouts "Vulgore!", where they sound a bit weak.
StephenTheBoss - 19.04.2011 at 14:08
But just finished listening, and all there is to say is, GIVE ME MORE
arj - 19.04.2011 at 15:26
Awesome
Malphas - 19.04.2011 at 16:30
Let's pray that the whole album is somewhat like this song, that would be epic xD, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than Heretic
Absak - 19.04.2011 at 16:40
Not as bad as Heretic but still really disappointing. Even more boring than then new Hate Eternal song "Haunting Abound" or whatever it was called. This band does not age well at all!
Mr. Doctor - 19.04.2011 at 16:41
I fail to understand the people that are saying the vocals are weak, Vincent sounds fucking pissed off I love it.

Haters gonna hate... This song is good.
The Night Wisher - 19.04.2011 at 17:23
The song is nice, but vocal fry isn't good, I prefer straight death growls than this.
SlaytanicGonzo - 19.04.2011 at 19:03
Meh, not what I expected. But I'll wait for the full album to make my veredict.
BitterCOld - 19.04.2011 at 19:30
I dig the vocals as well. one of the reasons i always liked David Vincent's work with the band was that his voice has an awesome combination of rawr, scorn, and, enunciation.

it's harsh and angry, but you can fucking understand what he's saying.

sounds good overall. don't think it will topple their first couple albums on my MA faves list, but will likely surpass some of the recent ones.
Abattoir - 19.04.2011 at 19:35
I found this song very strong, decent. And I don't see any problems with the vocals either....well performed.
Baz Anderson - 19.04.2011 at 20:35
Can't wait to hear the whole album.
bodomroy - 19.04.2011 at 22:50

Just what I wanted to say. Vincent is the shit, maybe people in here never attended a Morbid Angel gig before listening to this song...
Void Eater - 20.04.2011 at 04:14
Found it fairly boring myself, but not painful or anything, just a standard modern day death metal tune. I just want to hear the song, "I am Morbid", and see if it contains a Celtic Frost reference.
ScanDoppelganger - 20.04.2011 at 04:21
I'm pumped.
CliffemAll - 20.04.2011 at 06:51
Not too shabby. Great solo...not that I'd expect otherwise. Surprised by Dave's vocals. He was featured on a Soulfly song a few years ago and he sounds much better here. June can't come soon enough.
Winterthrone - 20.04.2011 at 20:02
This song is fuckin' great! Nothing can topple what they have done with their first 4 albums, but this is excellent music! it's good to hear David Vincent with MA again!
LoudBoy26 - 20.04.2011 at 21:16
BEHEMOTH Makes These Guys Sound Like School Girls
White Winter Sun - 21.04.2011 at 02:13
This song sounds pretty good. I'm looking forward to listen to the whole thing. Also I hope that more samples will be posted online until the release of Illud Divinum Insanus.

Next june I'll see them play in Enschede (Holland) and I am very pleased to hear that this songs sounds like the best album they have made; Domination.
