Fleshgod Apocalypse - Sign To Nuclear Blast Records

Italian brutal metallers Fleshgod Apocalypse have signed a worldwide deal with German record label giants Nuclear Blast Records. And now, after their tour with Suffocation and The Faceless, the band's wrapping up the last work on their upcoming, yet untitled album, which will be released by this summer around the start of the Summer Slaughter Tour.

Guitarist/Vocalist Tommaso Riccardi comments: "We're really excited to start working with such a renowned and professional label. It's a great chance for the band to express itself in the best way, counting on this kind of support. For us it's like a brand new start. We surely can improve our work, touring much more and finally reaching every continent as we always wanted to do. Many tours are already planned or on the way to being organized. We'll start with North America and Europe and then Asia/Oceania, South Africa and maybe in Central/South America. We can't wait to hit US again this July-August with the 'Summer Slaughter Tour' 2011. It's an honor for us to be on this tour and a great opportunity to play live some new tunes! See you on the road!"

I'm not really surprised. They're accessible enough (but not really in a bad way). Don't know what to make of this though.

Great band who deserves a large label. Just hope that Nuclear Blast doesn't force them to change their style to something trendy.

I'm not sure what the high end of metal is either. Big name bands?

As for FA - they deserve the deal. NB better not fuck around with their sound.

Same with me, but i guess since "Thryce" the one who handle the news on this website, and he haven't been online since 11 days, that's explain why i guess.

Yeah, Sorry, I meant big bands, lots of issues within big bands atm with their labels etc.
I hope NB don't fuck them around also!
