In other news, Kataklysm recorded the single The Iron Will last week in Montreal, Canada with guitarist/producer Jean-Francois Dagenais.

It will be mixed this fall by Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Behemoth, Mnemic) in Denmark and will be released with a video clip on iTunes one month before the release of the documentary DVD The Iron Will: 20 Years Determined, which depicts the ups and downs of the band's long, turbulent career... One that made Kataklysm one of today's top names in extreme music.

The Iron Will DVD will be released in the spring of 2012 and will include this year's live performance from the Summer Breeze festival.

Haha, yes, I know. But I found that to be hilarious, in a bored and tired mode.
These kind of tours are, sadly enough, mostly in German and around there. I wish myself there would be a Sweden date or two. But, alas, there isn't.

It ain't a european tour, I think they meant "German tour with a little on the sides"

It's nothing new. Typical word play to make something sound bigger than it is. 75% of the time, a "North American Tour" generally means east-coast US tour with perhaps a stop in Texas.

Nice addition to the X-Mas Metal Festival in Geiselwind. Would have gone there anyway for Blind Guardian and Iced Earth, now I have even more reasons to go.

It's a Rock The Nation tour. Almost all RTN tours are like that.

Yeah, I know these kind of tours only like Germany, I just wanted to whine a little bit

But I was wondering if it wouldn't be more profitable to take out 3 or 4 shows on geografic location where it is all massificated and replace them with only a show or two a little farther but with much better chances of attendence entry ( to compensate travel costs).
It would complicate just a bit more things but everyone would be much happier !

Why they call it "European" tour??

Why they call it "European" tour??

Because it's shorter than "German/French/Swiss/Austrian/Czech/Belgian/Dutch tour."

I think it'd be better as German tour with guest countries

Or "Germany 1940 AD + Switzerland tour"
