Italian symphonic metal band Rhapsody Of Fire have announce the name of a new band member who will join forces with Fabio Lione, Alex Staropoli, Tom Hess and Alex Holzwarth. German bass player Oliver Holzwarth (brother of Rhapsody Of Fire drummer Alex Holzwarth) has joined the band as an official and permanent member of Rhapsody Of Fire, and will be involved in both live performances and studio recordings.
Oliver has toured with Blind Guardian, Tarja and Sieges Even and has recorded several studio albums with Blind Guardian.
Alex Staropoli says: "It's a true privilege and honor to have the two Holzwarth brothers playing together in Rhapsody Of Fire. I am sure it will be fantastic to have the best rhythmic section on this planet, a unique and true force of nature, on our side. I am really looking forward to hearing them shaking the stages around the world on our upcoming world tour."

| These Holzwarth brothers were also playing on Paradox's album 'collision course' and some sources are stating that they have joined Paradox again. Although I ain't the biggest power metal fan, rhapsody has almost always been worth following. |

Is this the first team Rhapsody or the reserves? I've kind of lost track now.
Was one going back to being just Rhapsody and one Rhapsody Of Fire? Was there a Bohemian Rhapsody, think that one was about gay trolls doing the fandango in a thunderstorm. |

Luca now goes under the name Rhapsody with a bunch of musicians who nobody's heard of, the rest of the band continues under the name Rhapsody Of Fire. |

Actually Luca left the band with half of the members of Rhapsody Of Fire
-Luca Turilli
-Dominique Leurquin (who was changed for Tom Hess for their last album)
-Alex Holzwarth (Who stays in both bands)
-Patrice Guers (Bass guitar).
He only needs a new singer and keyboard player, but actually for recording purposes, Luca could play both. |

This is the original band. Luca's band hasn't got a name yet, I think. And yes, Patrice Guers left ROF with Luca, while Dominique Leurquin was their live/session guitarist before Tom Hess came onboard. |

| Well, does Oliver Holzwarth still stays with BG? Would be bummed to see him go, and nothing was posted on BG site about him leaving... |
