Faith No More - To Reunite With Trey Spruance To Play King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime In Its Entirety
Faith No More have revealed that their eagerly awaited surprise for the their show in Santiago, Chile, on November 12th, will see the band perform their seminal 1995 album King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime in its entirety. And Trey Spruance will join the band for the show - the first time he will have played the album live.
The news have been confirmed by both band bassist Billy Gould and keyboardist Roddy Bottum on their respective twitter accounts.

I think this is great news, as it's an album that I love and feel is very underrated. And great songs that have very rarely or never been played live like "Get Out" and "Star AD" will get a live outing too which is awesome. Hope the show will be pro shot!

The album choice might also coincide with the guitarist... Real Thing and Angel Dust featured Jim Martin. King featured Trey.

Yes, it'd be great if this is recorded properly, as it's by far the album from Faith No More I listen to the most, if not exclusively. Great to see they'll be playing it in its entirety!

Written by Neuroku on 06.10.2011 at 20:12 Yep, sadly not! I'd love to see this live in person...  @Bitter: I didn't think of that... I guess reuniting with Jim Martin would be more problematic. Then again, Trey never went on tour with FNM as he left the band after recording the album....
