Norwegian progressive/avant-garde metallers Leprous recently shot an official video for the song "Restless", off their third album and InsideOutMusic debut, Bilateral. The video was directed by David Solbjørg and Kjetil Kolbjørnsrud of Twitchy Films and can now be watched below.
The band comments on the clip as follows: "We had a lot of fun, but also went through several gross and painful moments in the making of this video. We're really happy about the result, and we expect you to understand the entire chain of events during the first watching. Enjoy!"
Leprous will be promoting their Bilateral album, which entered the official charts in the band's native Norway at #61 upon release, by supporting Finnish metallers Amorphis on a long European tour until January 2012.

Still unsure here as well. I guess it shows how absurd life can be when ur stuck in the routine, but that's really stretching it. The images are nice tho. |

I don't think it means anything, they may be trying to get people to look really deep into meaningless imagery as a joke (like Tool does). Bathing with a fish represents the desire to cleanse oneself with religion, smoking lint is the opposite (where people want to appear rebellious and "unclean"), and the birthday cake switcheroo punch is a metaphor for what happens when you invest your faith entirely in either one of these belief systems and suddenly find out the cake is a lie. |
