Symphony X - N. American Co-Headliner Tour With Iced Earth

New Jersey's progressive metal juggernauts Symphony X will be returning to North America for a co-headlining tour with heavy metal stalwarts Iced Earth. Opening each night will be L.A. thrashers Warbringer.

The 32-show trek will launch in Hartford, Connecticut on January 31st, weave through the Great White North, then blow out the lights in Clifton Park, New York on March 11th.

Tickets can be purchased on Enter The Vault and on Artist Arena.

Guitarist Michael Romeo says: "We are very excited about the upcoming North American Tour with Iced Earth. We first met Jon & the guys a few years back and they were really cool. When the idea of a Co-Headline tour surfaced, we thought it would be awesome. The fans can expect a night of great music from both bands. We look forward to seeing you all real soon!"

Iced Earth founder Jon Schaffer says: "I'm excited to tour with SYMPHONY X. They're phenomenal musicians and very cool guys. This co-headliner tour will be a great experience for the fans. It is also way overdue for us to play a proper tour of North America. Get ready!"

In the same tour or in a stand alone one?

This will be the fifth time I've seen Symphony X at the same venue... I really wish they would mix it up a little in my town.

They're part of the North American leg of the World Dystopia Tour, Warbringer will continue as the support band.

This is great. Two great bands with two great new albums with a fucking great support act.

It seems a bit of an odd pairing to place Symphony X and Iced Earth with Warbringer but it's hardly an excuse to complain!

I'm driving 7 hours from Jackson, MS to Houston, TX, to me it's worth it without a doubt! I can't fucking wait to see these gentlemen do what they do best.

Finally! I got to see Symphony X in Saint Louis when they toured for Paradise Lost and I've never gotten to see Iced Earth. I am ridiculously excited that they'll be doing a North American tour together and I'll be there for sure in Kansas City.

For a long time it seemed like Europe got all the best metal tour packages, but in recent years, the US seems to get all the kewlest ones... lol
