Arch Enemy have announced the release of a new DVD. Their December 13th show in Cologne will be filmed. The band will be supported by Century Media labelmates and thrash metallers Warbringer and Taiwan's melodic black metallers Chthonic.

Angela Gossow commented: "2011 is my 10-year anniversary with Arch Enemy. I want to celebrate this with a very special event we will film my hometown show in Cologne, Essigfabrik, Germany 13 December 2011 for our upcoming World Khaos Tour DVD release!"

"We aim to capture the live insanity of my fellow German metalheads as intensely as possible with cameras in the middle of the moshpit, in the front row, over, under, left, right and center. We want your blood, your sweat, your passion and get every last drop of it on celluloid! The awesome Filmefahrer Pictures team will make this an unforgettable shooting so be there and become immortalized!"

Will probably get the DVD, although there is still a long way to go. I have all of their DVDs and I like them, so I don't see why this one should be any different. Oh, Khaos Legions songs, I see...

Might still be worth it because they are a great live band.

From the Youtube clips I've seen of their live performances, I have to agree they look amazing live. Better than in studio - Angela sounds so much more powerful in front of a crowd.

That being said...their new album was pretty bad so this DVD isn't exactly something I'd bother with. Maybe just to see if they can make it sound better live I guess.

They were great when I saw them back when they released Rise Of The Tyrant. I had so much fun on that show. And if you watch it, all their previous DVDs were good, which proves they are great live.

But the fact that it is the new album tour kinda makes it weird, but we'll see

Hahah Khaos Legions has to be Metal's Biggest Disapointment of 2011.

it literally sounds like they took all theyr previously published songs, jumbled them up into hybrids and then added a few new melodic choruses. even the song titles are hybrids of old songs. haha. or perhaps Khaos is a compilation of old material that was meant to be filler tracks on previous albums but didnt quite make the cut.

Something like that

It was very disappointing and it's looking like they are out of ideas and if they are, they should just wait and not release crap because they "have to".

I haven't heard Khaos yet, but I know their DVDs always have great quality. So I'll be waiting for this one as well.
