| Still not giving much away. Just hope it is better than the Storytime clip form earlier. |

| Storytime is out on Youtube. It sounds very "Nightwish-y". |
|
|
|
| Really, I would prefer this album to be instrumental from what ive heard. metal and orchestra with no vocals. |
|
|
|
| Looking forward to getting my hands on it. |

Vocals sound more like Abba. Instrumentals good though. |

Yeah I was talking about the music. We all know the vocals from Anette sounds pretty fucking lame. I think the band should use Hietala for singing instead. |

Hietala have his own band for that. |

Absolutely. Ahhhh, I should be over it already but I would have been PERFECT if they got Vibeke Stene as the singer.
I think I will be getting the instrumental version of the album. But I'll check out the movie at least. |

| I liked dark passion pay, commerical, yeah, but varied and powerful, strong songwriting, but anette STILL seems like a weird choice for vocalist - she does have a nice, melodic voice, very good to listen to, but it really lacks any kind of punch AT ALL, which is weird considering their music seems to be getting increasingly epic and dramatic as well as commercial. |

| Abba sounds good. In fact, Anette suits that kind of music well. It leaves an impression of a musical-theatre style. I don't think I'd even be able to imagine this song with operatic vocals. |

The numerous posts of it have already been removed. Apparently, hearing a song 3 days before it's release isn't good in the eyes of Nuclear Blast.
Dicks! |

Fun pun, though I'm sure it's just typo ^_^ |

| Imagi-whatever will be released well before Time. |

| Storytime is back on YouTube, at least for the moment. It sounds very much like DPP Nightwish, almost to the point of parody, but the song is pretty decent. |

I usually don't fall for 'sellout' jokes, but this was well played, kudos *congratulates you* |

I liked Dark Passion Play too. It was the worst crap ever, especially that part with the chick who can't sing like Tarja.
In all seriousness, I don't care how conventionally metal Storytime is, I enjoyed it. Metal is a very versatile term, with about a billion sub-genres. Symphonic Pop Metal, maybe? The guitars are metal, so much so that nobody would call it rock. Oh well it's pretty good no matter what we call it. Brain candy, although some of it makes me cringe, but that's good, I'm a bit of a masochist. |

| Are people still butthurt about Tarja? Geez.. |

Some people are. Some people just dislike Annette. |

Yes, of course. I was actually mocking those people although it was a bit hard to see unless read in the context of the whole discussion. Yeah I say get the fuck over it too, but some can't. And like Troy mentioned, some people just think that Anette is the devil and would rather have other singers even if they aren't Tarja.
I don't think that her voice hinders the band at all, it is actually perfect for pop which is basically what they are. I don't think they're going to change their path. |

| When she sings "I am the journey, I am the destination" in Storytime I really want to edit in James Hetfield shouting "I AM THE TABLE!" They should do a duet. Actually Nightwish should just write and record all of the new Metallica albums in the style of Nightwish. |

Perish the thought. The greatest band of the month must not touch anything made by the worst band of the month, the year and the decade.
Now for my thoughts on the song. It's commercial, it's catchy, it's designed to sell the album. And it will. I myself am looking forward to long cinematic epics, which Imaginaerum seems to promise. |
