Greek metallers Firewind will start recording songs for their upcoming new release soon, the follow-up to 2010's Days Of Defiance.
Guitarist Gus G. posted the following on the band's Facebook page: "What's up everyone... I've been rehearsing this past week with FW like crazy. We're ready 2 start recordings, will keep you posted as we go along."

| I understand why some people didn't like Days of Defiance. The album is quite long and lacks some variety. I still think it is their best album so far. It has the best sound and some of their best songs too. Well each of FWs instrumentals is crazy as hell but SKG is above the rest. |

SKG is great and so are some songs like "World On Fire", "Heading For The Dawn", "Kill In The Name Of Love" & "Broken". But some songs are really uninspired and lack the energy needed to make it a great album. The Premonition is very consistent and contains more standout tracks than DOD... |
