"The Red In The Sky..." is their best album, but I also really like "Slaughter Of The Soul".

I've read At the Gates' Gardens of Grief and Grotesque's In the Embrace of Evil were re-released as a split by Century Media in 2001 (says Wiki). |

I had no idea it had been re-released as a split... And you can't believe everything you read on wiki.
Anyway, I'm only aware of it's original release on it's own in 1991.  |

About the album itself, I heard two or three songs and lost desire to go through the rest. I really don't know what they were aiming at with this release. |
