German metallers Rage have revealed details about their upcoming studio album. Entitled 21, it will be released on February 24th, 2012, via Nuclear Blast. Once again the album was produced in the Twilight Hall Studios in Krefeld, Germany, by Victor Smolski and Charlie Bauerfeind. The artwork of 21 was created by Felipe Machado (Blind Guardian, Rhapsody Of Fire).
Peavy, vocalist and founder of the band, explains: "It may have already got about that our new album will come off pretty heavy. We've been bubbling over with creativity and it was huge fun to work on the songs - as always, it was real teamwork. Working with such fantastic musicians like Victor and André is great."
21 tracklist and cover art:
01. House Wins
02. Twenty One
03. Forever Dead
04. Feel My Pain
05. Serial Killer
06. Psycho Terror
07. Destiny
08. Death Romantic
09. Black And White
10. Concrete Wall
11. Eternally

Mmmm...nice cover!!
My thoughts exactly! The Soundchaser is looking very badass there!
It's been a while since Rage have made a truly great album, but even their weaker efforts have some great tunes on them, so looking forward to this. |

If it also sounds like the Soundchaser album, I'm looking forward to it. |

Well, I certainly wouldn't be complaining, that's for sure! That actually was the last album they did that I'd class as genuinely great.
Hmm... seems like the album cover pic has disappeared from the orginal post. :\ |

Strings To A Web is a amazing album
I find the album to be a bit patchy myself... it definitely has some great songs, but as a whole, it just feels a bit lacking somehow. |
