I hate tours with just one band. Love Sabaton, but i'd be more inclined to go if there were some good support bands.

It is said a Headlining tour. So they'll probably be sopport band that will be confirmed at the beginning of the year. Even if they're alone, from the live footage I've seen, I'll might go see them.

I don't even know this band, yet I'm so tempted to go to this. The conditions are perfect for a show around here. Just hoping for a decent support band if they get one.
Might have to take a crash course in this band.

Guys, read a bit bout the music industry! NO bands EVER do solo shows! When they do (aka Metallica, Amon Amarth) it's for a special occasion (30th anniversary of Metallica, Amon Amarth's "A night with Amon Amarth").

When they put out flyers and news like these (Sabaton, not previously stated events), it's either because:

  • The opening bands have not been decided yet and the news will come out eventually when decided
  • The slots are open for anyone to take. In this particular case, it's up to each and every local promoter to find and deal with local openers. Bands often do this so 1- Local bands can play on big bills and 2- So they are SURE a local band will bring a lot of people to their shows so that way, new people get to know the headlining band

So, either wait for the news from the band, or wait for the news from your local promoter! But I can guarantee one thing for sure: There WILL be openers, at least 2
